In 2004, Honda introduced the CBF600 road motorcycle, designed specifically for European consumers, alongside the CBF500 model. The first modifications of the CBF600 (2004-2007) featured a steel frame and an engine borrowed from the Honda Hornet 600, but with reduced power to 78 horsepower.

 

In 2008, due to the transition to the Euro-3 environmental standard, the CBF500 model was discontinued, and the CBF600 underwent significant changes: it received an aluminum frame and a new injection engine taken from the sporty Honda CBR600RR. In this modernized form, the Honda CBF600 was produced until 2013, after which its production was discontinued. In 2014, a new naked model, the Honda CB650F, appeared on the market, replacing the Honda CBF600 and the Honda CB600F Hornet.
