From 2008 to 2011, Honda produced the XL700V Transalp motorcycle, primarily intended for European consumers. This model, which replaced the XL650V Transalp, featured a number of improvements and new solutions.

 

The Honda XL700V Transalp's powertrain is a liquid-cooled, two-cylinder V-twin engine with a displacement of 680 cc. It develops a power output of 60 horsepower and a torque of 60 Nm. Peak values are reached in the range of 5500 to 8000 revolutions per minute. This same engine was used in the Honda NT700V Deauville and Honda DN-01 motorcycles, which were designed for touring.
