What does the workshop do?
The workshop does diagnosis, disassembly, part replacement, adjustment, wheel truing, lubrication and cleaning, assembly, testing and washing.
Is there a winter discount?
Yes. From 1 October to 1 February, workshop prices are 20% lower.
What affects the final price?
Urgent work costs double. Non-standard work, and work with technical difficulties, is charged by the hour: €30 an hour. Prices may vary with the technical condition and cleanliness of the bicycle.
What should I tell the bicycle workshop before a repair?
Describe what has changed: a new noise, hesitant gear changes, rubbing brakes or a wheel that is no longer true. Include the type of bicycle and when it was last serviced, if you know. This gives the discussion a starting point beyond the name of a service package.
Can I arrange bicycle servicing and storage together?

When does a bicycle need a workshop visit?
When the chain is noisy even after lubrication, gears shift late, the brakes feel weak or the wheel wobbles out of true. If the bicycle stood unused all off-season, an inspection before the first ride is needed in any case.
What is an internal gear hub?
It is a set of gears inside the rear wheel hub. The mechanism is sealed against dirt and water, you can shift while standing still, and the chain stays straight, as on a one-speed bicycle. In our workshop, servicing such a bicycle costs €40 with a 3-speed hub and €60 with a 7-speed hub.
Do you repair motorcycles?
No, the workshop works only with bicycles. We do not service electric bicycles either; we take all other bicycles.
