How much does storage cost?

Storing a bicycle costs €5 a month, a motorcycle €20–25 a month. The minimum term is one month, and you can collect your vehicle earlier.

Where can I store a motorcycle or bicycle over winter in Riga?

MO.VE Riga stores motorcycles and bicycles in a dry, guarded space. It is separate from the shop and is not at Vagonu iela 21.

What else do you do besides storage?

We do lubrication, cleaning and maintenance, and prepare your vehicle for the next season.

How do I collect my vehicle after winter storage?

Let us know 3 days ahead so we can prepare it. We hand back a motorcycle washed, with a charged battery and a lubricated chain, and a bicycle clean and lubricated.

Can you pick up the vehicle?

If you need it, we can deliver a bicycle or motorcycle for storage within Riga and the Riga district. We agree the delivery price separately.

What should I discuss before bringing a vehicle into storage?

Give the type of vehicle, the intended storage period and whether you need transport. Mention any bicycle repairs or cleaning before handing it over. This helps distinguish storage itself from work needed before the next riding season.

How do I prepare a motorcycle for winter storage?

Wash and dry the motorcycle, lubricate the chain and fill the tank with fuel stabilizer so that condensation does not build up inside. Charge the battery, or remove it and keep it somewhere warm. Inflate the tires to the upper end of the recommended range or put the motorcycle on a stand, and cover it with a breathable cover: moisture collects under plastic sheeting.

Wash the bicycle, dry the chain and lubricate it. Inflate the tires so they do not go flat, and keep the bicycle in a dry room. We also do the lubrication, cleaning and servicing before the new season.
